Overview
CAEN RFID's Lepton x4 reader modules are UHF | RAIN - RFID embedded readers of the easy2read© product line. Their ultra-compact form factor is perfect for low power, high performance RAIN RFID applications. With a programmable output power of up to 30 dBm, the readers can detect tags at a distance of more than 10 m (depending on the reader IC, antenna, tag dimensions and environment).
The radio frequency core of the modules is based on Impinj's RAIN RFID reader chips (E310, E710 or E910), enabling fast reading speeds and high performance in dense reader and tag environments. With its four antenna ports, the Lepton x4-USB reader modules are the ideal partner for multi read point and gate control applications. There are a wide variety of applications and industries for those high end multi antenna port reader modules. Due to their high sensitivity, the modules are well suited for the development of industry leading UHF | RAIN - RFID readers for dense tag enviroments.
